Job Opportunity: Light Duty Driver
Job Description
Lindsay Saker Fourways has a vacancy for a Light Duty Driver.
Reporting to the Service Manager, this role involves executing driving duties and assisting with other reasonable tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles for defects, damages, and roadworthiness.
- Ensure all vehicles are locked and secured, with keys stored safely.
- Report any accidents or traffic violations immediately.
- Assist with vehicle handovers and provide driver training to customers.
- Translate languages when required.
- Conduct vehicle checks on new arrivals for damage, defects, or missing tools.
- Start vehicles regularly to prevent battery damage.
- Move vehicles between dealerships, suppliers, and customers.
- Work night shifts (20:00 – 05:00) and overtime when required.
- Complete all necessary driver training reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license
- Valid PDP

- Driver Trainer Qualification from an OEM or similar (advantageous)
