Introduction
The role involves operating a factory vehicle (clamp truck) in accordance with the daily task schedule to support smooth production and warehousing operations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete the daily clamp truck inspection checklist and promptly report any issues to the Operations Controller or Supervisor
- Ensure the checklist is reviewed and signed by the Operations Controller each day
- Check that the clamp truck is adequately fueled and oiled for each shift
- Efficiently load and unload reels/bales from production lines in a timely manner
- Maintain awareness of the location of all reels/bales within the warehouse and ensure correct movement and placement without delay
- Load and offload materials strictly within designated zones
- Handle reels and bales in accordance with established stacking and storage procedures
- Create sufficient space in the reel store for incoming reels/bales from the production lines
- Pre-stage loads according to the call-off schedule
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
- Identify and separate defective reels/bales based on labeling and physical inspection
- Assist with regular stock counts
- Conduct moisture testing when required
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area
- Clean the clamp truck at the end of each shift
- Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification (RPL accepted)
- Valid forklift license
- Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift or clamp truck
- Solid understanding of warehousing practices
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
