Position: Corporate Driver
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
Introduction:
We are currently inviting applications for the role of Corporate Driver. This position is critical for supporting daily business transportation needs, including executive travel, client meetings, and government appointments. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the safety and security of company executives and assets during all movements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive executives for business operations, including client and government meetings
- Ensure the secure and professional transport of executives and official delegates
- Mitigate and prevent potential threats to individuals and assets during transit
- Respond to ad-hoc transport requests, including the collection and delivery of business-related items
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance checks and deliver high-level customer service
- Plan and optimize travel routes to maximize efficiency and reduce delays
- Ensure strict compliance with all traffic laws and company safety standards
- Promptly report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunctions
- Ensure punctual and secure delivery of people and goods
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- National Senior Certificate (Matric)
- 3–5 years’ experience as a corporate or executive driver
- Certifications in Advanced, Offensive, and Defensive Driving
- Training and experience in threat/risk assessment and operational security
- Strong background in risk management and route planning
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Proficient in operating a variety of vehicles
