Position Title: Chauffeur / Driver
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Salary: R10 000 per month
Introduction:
Our client, a reputable flight charter company, is seeking a professional and experienced driver to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport clients to and from Cape Town International Airport
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws
- Plan efficient routes considering traffic, weather, and road conditions
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of seatbelts and indicators
- Maintain detailed records such as mileage logs and trip reports
- Communicate with passengers and supervisors regarding route updates or delays
- Secure and safeguard any cargo during transit
- Perform duties in all weather conditions and adjust to changing schedules or routes
- Ensure timely and safe arrival of clients at their destinations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fluid levels, tyre pressure, fuel, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle
- Respond promptly and calmly to any emergencies
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license with PrDP/PDP
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional driver or chauffeur
- Clean driving and criminal record
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proficient in using GPS and map applications
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
- Excellent time management
- Physically fit and energetic
- Well-groomed and professional appearance
- Must have own reliable transport to commute to and from work
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
