Location:
Lichtenburg, North West
Purpose of the Role:
Senwes Equipment is seeking a Driver responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of stock and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading & Unloading:
- Pack, load, and unload parcels onto trucks according to specifications.
- Supervise a general worker assisting with these tasks.
- Ensure accurate unloading based on client requirements.
- Obtain delivery confirmations from each store and complete necessary administrative documents.
Safe Transportation:
- Ensure on-time delivery of goods to designated branches.
- Review delivery routes and parcels to optimize efficiency.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure vehicles and trailers are properly maintained.
- Comply with all company policies related to vehicle operation.
Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional service to stores during deliveries.
General Duties:
- Assist with additional driving-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: National Senior Certificate (Matric)
- License: Valid Code 10 Driver’s License
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant driving experience
Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and road safety
- Strong time management skills
- Safety-conscious mindset
