We are seeking a reliable and experienced Code 10 PDP Driver to join our team in Cape Town (Epping Area). The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while complying with all traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate delivery vehicles (trucks or vans) to transport goods to assigned locations.
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and timely delivery of cargo.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to meet safety and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts and delivery notes.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Deliver goods professionally and courteously, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to management promptly.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or within a team.
