Position Overview: Driver (Code 10)
Job Purpose:
To ensure the safe and efficient transport, loading, and unloading of seafood products, following all food safety protocols, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
- 3–5 years’ proven experience driving a Code 10 truck
- Experience operating cold storage trucks is a plus
- Solid knowledge of Cape Town routes and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Drive responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws
- Ensure the security and integrity of cargo during transit
- Follow assigned delivery schedules and timelines
- Accurately complete delivery documentation, including notes and invoices
- Observe customer and supplier protocols at delivery sites
- Consistently apply food safety and quality assurance practices
- Assist with manual loading and offloading of stock as needed
- Promptly communicate any delivery issues or delays to the line manager
