Introduction
The primary responsibility of this role is to operate the assigned vehicle safely, legally, and cost-effectively, in accordance with company policies and procedures, while transporting goods to designated destinations.

Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and actively participate in all safety-related activities within the department and organization.
- Load and unload carriers efficiently and securely.
- Drive carriers to specified destinations as planned.
- Perform essential tasks during travel such as refueling, changing flat tires, and other necessary roadside duties.
- Handle and reconcile cash transactions and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, including company and regulatory forms.
- Understand and adhere to the traffic laws and regulations of the countries being traveled to.
- Report any irregularities, incidents, or deviations promptly.
- Ensure proper care and management of company assets entrusted to you.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills; able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Valid Code EC (Code 14) Driver’s License
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
- Valid passport
- Minimum of 3 years’ cross-border driving experience
- At least 3 years’ experience operating superlink or car carrier vehicles (including ZF gearbox experience)
