Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport government officials, employees, and goods to designated locations.
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained in good working condition, including regular servicing and cleanliness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods, where necessary.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid South African Code 10 driver’s license with a valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Excellent knowledge of local and national road networks.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in other South African languages is an advantage.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
