Job Advert Summary
We are seeking a dedicated driver for our Electrical section to ensure the safe transport of staff and equipment to various destinations, both within and outside the station. The role also involves collecting and delivering items from external suppliers and maintaining vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
- 3 years of relevant driving experience
- Valid code EB driver’s license with the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 test
- Possession of a Public Driver’s Permit (PDP)
Primary Duties
- Safely collect and deliver items/equipment.
- Ensure the proper use of petty cash for required expenses.
- Ensure staff arrive on time when being transported.
- Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition, reporting any defects or incidents immediately.

- Understanding of the OHS Act.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
