The Europcar Branch in Vanderbijlpark is offering a permanent Light Duty Driver position.

Position Overview

This role aims to deliver efficient, friendly customer service and ensure every renter receives a vehicle that meets our quality and safety standards on time.

Specific Role Responsibilities

Job Outputs:

  • Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles to high standards
  • Conduct vehicle quality control, identifying and reporting expired licenses and other issues not meeting quality standards
  • Refuel vehicles and check tire pressure, oil, water, and other fluids after each rental
  • Deliver vehicles to customers according to procedures
  • Handle vehicle check-ins per company, quality control, and claims procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of the yard and surrounding areas
  • Behave ethically, safeguarding the assets and interests of the business and customers
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years of relevant driving experience

Minimum Qualification:

  • NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or equivalent)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old)
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to read a map

Note: The successful candidate must be willing to work overtime, shifts, and weekends as required.
