An established company situated on the East Rand is seeking the services of a Code 10 Driver to become a valuable addition to their team!
Roles & Responsibilities: Minimum Educational Requirement: Matric
Minimum Experience: 2 – 3 years
Licenses and Permits Required: Code 10 / Possession of a valid PDP is advantageous
Key Duties and Requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Operate the assigned vehicle safely, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Plan the most efficient and secure route considering traffic conditions, weather, and road closures.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of seat belts, signaling, and compliance with speed limits.
- Maintain accurate records such as mileage logs, delivery receipts, etc.
- Stay in communication with dispatch or supervisors, providing updates on the route, delays, or any emerging issues.
- Ensure the secure and protective transport of cargo to prevent damage during transit, ensuring proper loading and unloading.
- Be ready to work in various weather conditions and adapt to different routes or schedules as required.
Package & Compensation:
- Monthly Salary: R 8,500 – R 9,500
