Position Overview

The Europcar Branch at Skukuza Airport is offering a permanent Driver: Light Duty position. We seek a candidate who understands the importance of providing exceptional service, as the quality of our vehicles is crucial to the customer experience. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering a quality vehicle on time, every time, and will manage company assets responsibly while meeting customer expectations under pressure. Specific Role Responsibilities

Job Outputs:

  • Vehicle Cleaning: Clean the interior and exterior of vehicles to high standards.
  • Quality Control: Identify and report expired licenses and other issues not conforming to quality standards.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Refuel vehicles, check tire pressure, and top up oil, water, and other fluids after each rental.
  • Vehicle Delivery: Deliver vehicles to customers following established procedures.
  • Vehicle Check-ins: Handle vehicle check-ins according to company, quality control, and claims procedures.
  • Yard Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the yard and surrounding areas.
  • Ethical Conduct: Maintain company integrity by behaving ethically and safeguarding the assets and interests of the business and customers.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years of relevant driving experience.

Minimum Qualification:

  • NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or equivalent).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license (at least 2 years old).
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to read a map.

Essential Note: The successful candidate must be willing to work overtime, shifts, and weekends as required.
