Full Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery to customers within the allocated time slot as assigned by the chief inspector of explosives.
- Execute the delivery process safely.
- Adhere to public traffic regulations and CIE regulations (80km/h speed limit).
- Coordinate the offloading process.
- Verify that explosives seals are intact and match delivery documents.
- Sign delivery documents.
- Assist customers with offloading the product.
- Complete a full vehicle inspection sheet before departing the Magazine area daily.
- Ensure the vehicle license and explosives operator’s card remain valid.
- Ensure fire extinguishers are compliant.
- Return proof of delivery to the administration office for customer invoicing.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Valid Code 14 driver’s license
- Valid dangerous goods permit
- Willingness to undergo psychomotor testing
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably within the supply chain explosives environment.
- Proven experience in handling explosives products and emergency processes (Hazchem).
