Role Overview: Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, adhering to all relevant rules and regulations governing patient transport.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Code 10 Driver’s License and valid PDP permit.
- No violations on driver’s license/permit.
- At least 2 years of driving experience.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance:
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, ensuring compliance with National Road and Traffic Act regulations.
- Report any maintenance needs to the Fleet Manager.
- Maintain and complete daily logs and inspection sheets.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Deliver other resources and transport employees as necessary.
- Prioritize job requests to maximize time and fuel efficiency.
- Safely and efficiently transport patients and customers.
- Park vehicles in secure company facilities, lock them, and store keys in a safe place.
- Ensure vehicles are filled up before weekends or public holidays.
Equipment Check:
- Verify that all equipment is functioning correctly on a daily basis.
