Position Overview:
We are seeking a Driver (M/F) based in South Africa to fulfill driving responsibilities efficiently and promptly, adhering to provided instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans, both written and verbal.
- Ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written directives.
- Possession of a valid, unendorsed driver’s license with appropriate vehicle codes.
- Satisfactory visual, hearing, and overall health condition to meet legal job requirements.
- At least twelve months of prior driving experience in a similar role involving collections and deliveries for a company.
Profile Request:
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly report to a designated duty controller as instructed by management.
- Execute deliveries and collections including customers, mail/post, parts, vehicles, and specific equipment as directed by the controller.
- Support in vehicle cleaning and preparation when necessary.
- Perform duties efficiently and promptly while complying with traffic laws.
- Ensure the safekeeping of company assets under one’s control at all times.
- Maintain accurate log sheets after each trip.
- Secure all vehicles after hours and park them under cover.
- Maintain a neat appearance consistently.
- Refrain from smoking or eating in company or customer vehicles.
- Prohibit private passengers in the vehicle.
- Refrain from utilizing company or customer vehicles for personal use.
- Promptly report any accidents to management and authorities.
- Assist in transporting vehicles from the wash bay to parking areas.
- Undertake any additional administrative or other responsibilities as needed.
