Job Summary
A Driver position has opened within the Operations Department at BTT Richards Bay. The primary objective of this role is to provide efficient transport, delivery, and distribution services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Code 10 Driver’s License with PDP (advantageous)
- 1 year of experience as a delivery or corporate driver
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely transport employees to and from site areas or other destinations as instructed.
- Collect and distribute rations, consumables, and PPE to sites as per the driving schedule.
- Collect and deliver documentation, requisitions, and orders.
- Collect lunch orders for training, audits, customer visits, and meetings.
- Ensure the safekeeping of all documents and keys at the end of each shift.
- Manage refueling, washing, and cleaning of BTT vehicles, ensuring they are well-maintained.
- Assist with packing, sorting, and transporting boxes when required.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or near misses involving BTT vehicles to the Operations Administrator immediately.
- Drive vehicles with care, avoiding mishandling or abuse.
- Conduct weekly inspections of all BTT Richards Bay vehicles.
- Assist with operations-related issues as needed.
