Role Overview:
The position involves managing engineering spare parts by efficiently receiving, storing, picking, issuing, and delivering them to various locations, including local, cross-border, and front-end units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate receipt and verification of spare parts.
- Offload products from vehicles and transfer them to storage areas.
- Pick and assemble parts based on pick lists or reservations.
- Operate a forklift when required.
- Transport products between sites and storage facilities.
- Collect and deliver spare parts as needed.
- Ensure all required equipment and consumables are available and in proper working condition.
- Report any faulty equipment to the Team Leader.
- Provide support to the warehouse team for seamless operations.
- Adhere to Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in and around the storage area.
- Comply with company policies, governance frameworks, and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in storekeeping and material handling, gained through education or hands-on experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Strong numerical skills and ability to perform calculations.
