About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Services Officer to manage the information desk, ensuring a positive company image. The role involves selling gift cards, assisting visitors professionally and courteously, and maintaining smooth desk operations in line with standard procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Information Desk Management:
    • Ensure the desk is presentable at all times.
    • Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor.
    • Assist customers efficiently, resolving queries promptly and providing accurate information.
  • Wheelchair Administration:
    • Maintain an accurate register of issued and returned wheelchairs.
    • Ensure wheelchairs are clean and well-organized.
    • Keep records updated and follow up on outstanding returns.
  • Gift Card Sales & Compliance:
    • Sell gift cards following company procedures and audit guidelines.
    • Report any issues to the Information Desk Supervisor or Finance and Admin Managers.
    • Accurately complete daily reconciliation and maintain proper records.
    • Ensure all FICA requirements are met.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Matric Certificate (required).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in cash sales, administration, reconciliation, or customer service.
