Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all international corporate actions events with accuracy and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

📌 Corporate Actions Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end corporate actions process, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, issuers, and key stakeholders to provide updates and guidance.

📌 Transaction Processing

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of entitlements, elections, and cash/stock movements.
  • Review and interpret corporate action announcements and circulars to assess the impact on client portfolios.

📌 Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for all corporate action events.
  • Work closely with trading, operations, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence and smooth workflow.

📌 Process Improvement

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of corporate actions procedures and processes.

Requirements

✔ Grade 12 or equivalent (Tertiary qualification preferred)
✔ Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate actions-related role
✔ Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
✔ Knowledge of Strate, JSE events, and international markets in relation to corporate actions
✔ Strong understanding of corporate actions processes and regulations
