Position Summary

We are looking for a qualified, driven, and detail-oriented Confirmations Clerk to join our team. This role involves maintaining accurate patient records, managing filing systems, and coordinating medical aid confirmations and updates.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role
  • Proven experience with medical aid authorisation processes and a solid understanding of ICD-10 coding
  • Proficiency in Pastel and Microsoft Excel
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Highly energetic, well-organised, and a team player
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior and a commitment to excellence

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with medical aids for confirmations and updates
  • Obtain authorisations and letters of guarantee
  • Resolve queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and filing systems
  • Engage with key stakeholders including doctors and renal units
  • Ensure excellent client service at every touchpoint
  • Uphold and demonstrate National Renal Care’s core values and “Caring the NRC Way”
