Full Job Description:
- Ensure punctual arrival at work.
- Daily delivery of items according to schedule.
- Collect goods and submit reports on a daily basis.
- Drive in compliance with the laws of South Africa as outlined in the Road Safety Act.
- Responsible for ensuring the vehicle’s roadworthiness through pre and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain a logbook to record mileage for each trip.
- Submit monthly petrol receipts.
- Provide professional and exemplary customer service.
- May be called upon to assist with tasks beyond the scope of regular duties.
Skills and Competencies:
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Proficient time management skills.
- Capability to record and update data accurately.
- Familiarity with the Gauteng/Johannesburg area.
- Exceptional driving skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Matric qualification.
- 2-5 years of driving experience.
- Valid Code 14 driver’s license – Mandatory.
- Non-drinker – Preferred.
- Proficient in using street maps.
