Phakisa Holdings is looking for a Driver Code 14 in Centurion area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive safely to each destination.
- Make sure the delivery vehicle is maintained and in good working order.
- Keep vehicle clean and maintained at all times
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Be expected to load and unload products/items from the vehicle.
- Maintain the up-to-date records of the vehicle maintenance, incident reports and fuel purchases.
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes in Gauteng.
- Follow route and time schedule.
- Keep delivery logs of all activities for each day.
- Ensure that all deliveries have been signed and delivered to the correct recipient.
- Professional representation of the company through responsible driving and appearance.
- Handling of paperwork related to each delivery.
- Be responsible to cashing the petty cash cheque at the bank on a monthly
- Proven working experience as a delivery driver.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Valid Code 14 drivers’ licence and permit
- Matric certificate – must have the ability to read and write English.
- Proven working experience as a delivery driver.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- 5 Years experience
- Clean Record
