Introduction
Kargo National is looking for a dependable and experienced Code 14 Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently while adhering to road safety regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate will be a key part of our logistics team, ensuring on-time deliveries and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport cargo to assigned destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and within legal load limits.
- Comply with all road traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and logistics teams.
- Keep the truck clean and in good working condition.
- Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly.
- Deliver excellent customer service at drop-off points.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- License: Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license with PrDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Experience: At least 3 years as a Code 14 driver (preferably in freight/logistics).
- Driving Record: Clean record with no major violations.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
- Ability to properly secure loads.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle tasks responsibly.
