Responsibilities:
- Transport a diverse range of items to various destinations using different routes
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles
- Coordinate monthly vehicle inspections with the Asset Manager
- Maintain accurate records of delivery proofs, driver logbooks, fuel receipts, and toll gate receipts
- Ensure compliance with National Road laws and keep all licenses current
- Provide feedback to the Assistant Procurement Manager for process improvements
- Coordinate with the National Facilities Manager for club delivery requirements
- Perform outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Engage in physical tasks and handle weights up to 25kg
Requirements:
- High school diploma (Matric)
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills
- Strong punctuality
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Code 14 driver’s license required
- Valid PRDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations
- Forklift license preferred
