Introduction
Zibo Containers, a leading producer of thermoformed plastic packaging, is looking for a motivated, reliable, and energetic Code 10 Truck Driver to join their team based in Algoa Park, Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
- Ensure all loaded goods align with corresponding invoices or delivery notes.
- Assist with loading and unloading stock when required.
- Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of customer orders.
- Complete all daily delivery documentation and work reports accurately.
- Operate the vehicle in accordance with road safety and traffic regulations.
- Report any mechanical issues or vehicle faults to the Warehouse or Logistics Manager.
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle both inside and out, on a daily and weekly basis.
- Sign off and report any delivery discrepancies immediately to the warehouse office.
- Comply with all company health and safety policies.
- Carry out any additional tasks reasonably assigned by management.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with a valid PDP.
- Clear criminal record.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience in a similar role.
