About the Role
As a Client Service Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting Client Relations Managers to ensure exceptional client service. Your responsibilities will include assisting with client queries, document preparation, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with Section 13A obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Support & Administration
- Assist Client Relations Managers in delivering service excellence.
- Prepare new business documents, meeting agendas, and reports.
- Manage the distribution of electronic benefit statements and update SharePoint accordingly.
- Ensure clients meet their Section 13A obligations by reviewing unconfirmed lists.
- Provide guidance on the Client Portal for transactions, claims, statements, and reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively promote the use of the Member App/Web for enhanced client engagement.
- Operational & Administrative Tasks
- Efficiently handle telephone and email queries.
- Track and follow up on action items from meetings.
- Process internal requests for telephone lines, laptops, and other resources via the SRS system.
- Participate in internal training, forums, and company events.
- Continuously develop in the role and undertake additional training as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Investments, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in client services.
- 1–2 years of experience in the Employee Benefits industry (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong command of English (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of retirement fund legislation and industry regulations (advantageous).
- Familiarity with internal workflow systems and Client Portal (advantageous).
- Certificate of Proficiency in Employee Benefits (advantageous).
