Full Job Description

A position is currently available for a Creditors Clerk at our Robertville office. The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Purpose of the Role:
To execute the full creditors function efficiently and accurately, ensuring that all supplier accounts are correctly maintained and paid on time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify supplier invoices, ensuring proper authorization.
  • Prepare and capture invoices on SAP in line with monthly deadlines.
  • Obtain monthly statements and perform regular reconciliations of creditors’ accounts, including weekly reconciliations for fuel suppliers.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve queries promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date creditor account records.
  • Prepare and process creditor payments.
  • Ensure proper filing of all supporting documentation.
  • Handle VAT accurately in all applicable transactions.
  • Raise monthly accruals with precision.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of a Matric (Grade 12) and a recognized qualification in Creditors or Financial Administration.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with a thorough understanding of creditors systems and account reconciliations.
  • Working knowledge of SAP is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
  • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
