Job Description:
Fine Chemicals is seeking a Technical Cleaner for the Site Services team. Suitable candidates must meet the following criteria:

Job Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Experience in cleaning and housekeeping within an industrial environment.
- Qualified forklift driver or willingness to undergo training.
- Understanding of chemical products and proper usage.
- Strong commitment to safety, health, and hygiene standards.
- Physically fit and able to undergo training.
- Basic experience operating machinery and hand tools.
- Ability to handle solvent drums, work at heights, and operate in confined spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of all roadways and external building areas (excluding garden areas).
- Collect and sort solid waste for appropriate handling and disposal.
- Regularly empty and return hazardous and non-hazardous waste bins from production areas.
- Remove redundant reagent glass bottles from laboratories as required.
- Transport waste for sorting, compaction, or disposal.
- Assist with office relocations, file transfers, and general office moves.
- Handle and collect waste generated by Production, Laboratories, Warehouses, and Offices.
- Monitor and clean tank and drum bunds.
- Drum and transport waste and treated products from the Solvent Recovery System and Hazardous Aqueous Waste (HAW) treatment plant.
- Charge drummed HAW to the HAW tank farm.
- Clean utilities and technical equipment, including ventilation ducts, utility pipelines, scrubber ducting, and hard-to-reach process pipework.
- Maintain cleanliness in production void areas and Plant Rooms.
- Assist in deep cleaning tasks such as internal vessel polishing and specialized flooring cleaning.
- Support site material movement as needed.
- Assist with audit preparation tasks.
- Perform fire watch duties when required.
- Dispense raw materials in Raw Material Stores.
