Job Overview:
G4S Cash Solutions is seeking professional and responsible Cash-in-Transit (CIT) Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and secure transportation of cash and valuables between client locations, ATMs, and cash centers, ensuring compliance with security procedures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an armored vehicle to transport cash and valuables.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures at all times.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security threats.
- Maintain communication with the control center and report any incidents.
- Assist in loading and offloading cash and valuables at client sites.
- Ensure adherence to all road safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
- Minimum Grade 10 (Matric preferred).
- Previous experience in a security, driving, or cash-in-transit role is an advantage.
- No criminal record (Background checks and polygraph testing will be conducted).
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and responsibility.
- Ability to work under pressure and in high-risk environments.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
