Introduction

The role involves actively addressing inbound operational issues, including troubleshooting, query resolution, and data recording to generate reports based on inbound documentation and system information in SAP and MyChep.


Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Account Processing

  • Perform general administrative tasks, including customer account processing, reconciliations, and query resolution.
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation, including THAN slips (Chep), TN slips (GLS), AODs, purchase orders, control sheets, and PTRs (permits to remove).
  • Process and match customer transfer notes for both GLS and Chep.

Stock Control & Investigation

  • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly stock counts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in recorded equipment quantities in documentation and SAP.
  • Verify article linkages to ensure proper packaging material mapping.
  • Handle business and customer queries efficiently.

Reporting & Documentation Management

  • Maintain and update the Inbound Handover Sheet, ensuring accuracy of recorded information.
  • Collect and verify all relevant documentation, including:
    • Handover sheets
    • Backhaul documentation
    • Transshipment documentation
    • Collection, return, and rejected order documentation (if applicable)
  • Capture data in the vendor return spreadsheet.
  • Log and escalate issues as required.
  • Compile and present the Inbound Handover Report for the equipment team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric or relevant diploma.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a Warehouse/DC environment.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Warehouse Equipment Management.
  • SAP EWM experience is essential.
