About the Role

NDC Personnel & Contractors is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer at a leading FMCG company in the Western Cape!

In this key position, you will oversee procurement processes, working closely with maintenance teams to award orders, evaluate and compare technical quotations, negotiate pricing, and enforce penalties based on agreed terms. You will also analyze expenditures to enhance sourcing strategies, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement, while managing supplier relationships to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Purchasing Management (Technical qualifications are a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement within a relevant industry.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
