Job Description:
- Must be capable of multi-tasking and managing a heavy workload in a high-pressure environment. If you are unable to handle a high level of pressure, please do not apply.
- Administration of debtor accounts.
- Credit control duties.
- Conduct debtors age analysis.
- Handle COD (Cash on Delivery) customers.
- Manage the administration of credit limits and credit applications.
- Cashbook processing and reconciliation.
- Reconcile creditors’ accounts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of an NQF Level 6 qualification (Diploma) in Finance or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting (up to Trial Balance).
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with the internet and email.
- ACCPAC experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
- Must be able to work with a sense of urgency in a multitasking environment.
