Job Description
Purpose of the Role: The primary objective is to efficiently manage vendor documentation to expedite payments and provide administrative support for operating and capital expenses, data capture, and general assistance to the accounts department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support distribution processes by ensuring compliance with operational guidelines, safety regulations (OHS Act), audit requirements, and managing purchase orders on SAP.
- Ensure timely deliveries and adherence to business requirements by strictly following SLA deadlines, organizing and scheduling meetings, maintaining and updating bulletin boards, and completing all work orders as required.
- Manage documentation by receiving and registering products and materials, ensuring proper financial procedures, registering vehicles, and filing all correspondence according to standards.
- Maintain and update asset registers, address and close asset defects, document continuous improvement initiatives, and promote procedural awareness among terminal visitors and staff.
- Provide support to stakeholders by preparing and finalizing necessary documentation, ensuring effective communication, and maintaining strong business relationships with internal stakeholders.

Your Background:
- Baseline:
- NQF Level 4 (Matric)
- 2 years’ experience in Transport Administration
- Knowledge of Transport and Distribution processes
- Advantageous:
- Background in Mathematics/Accounting/Economics
- Experience in Depot or Transport operations
