Position: Administrator – Fixed-Term Contract
Location: Sandton
Key Purpose:
The Administrator will support operational efficiency by managing the collation, distribution, and handling of documentation. Responsibilities may include preparing membership welcome packs, managing correspondence, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping, in line with defined business rules.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role may involve one or more of the following tasks:
- Collate printed materials, adding required documents as per business rules.
- Seal and package documents into envelopes for dispatch via post, courier, or internal delivery.
- Receive and distribute internal and external items through internal mail channels.
- Contact recipients to collect fragile or important items directly.
- Print and distribute membership cards as requested.
- Deliver or email requested documentation to appropriate personnel.
- Receive and process incoming correspondence, classifying documents by type.
- Apply business rules for handling and routing received documentation.
- Record statistics and conduct spot checks on prepared materials to ensure quality control.

Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Matric certificate with a minimum C in English
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Working knowledge of Paradigm system
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet targets
Advantageous:
- Previous experience within a Discovery Health (DH) or similar environment
- At least 6 months of administrative experience
- Data capturing experience (minimum 6 months)
