Job Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide support across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will quickly adapt to various workflows, policies, and requirements while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to departments requiring support.
- Quickly familiarize with departmental processes, policies, and workflows.
- Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Identify and resolve administrative bottlenecks to maintain operational efficiency.
- Seamlessly transition between departments while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
- Adapt to shifting priorities, tasks, and team dynamics as needed.
- Recommend and implement process improvements for sustainability and consistency.
- Share best administrative practices across departments.
- Support team members in achieving overall departmental goals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
- At least 1 year of experience in a general administrative or similar role (Essential).
- Familiarity with office tools, scheduling systems, and filing processes.
- Ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving skills.
