Introduction & Purpose
The role is responsible for providing secretarial and logistical support within the Office of the Director-General.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering secretarial support services for executive meetings.
- Organizing logistical arrangements for executive meetings.
- Coordinating ODG Unit meetings and planning sessions.
- Managing the distribution of external Cabinet memos and Minister’s Cabinet briefing notes.
- Providing administrative support.
- Overseeing document and information management.

Competency Requirements
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of government processes.
- Expertise in organizing, planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
- Familiarity with departmental policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in secretariat support services.
- Awareness of Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS).

Qualifications & Experience
- A three-year National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6) in Office Management, Public Administration, Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in secretarial support services, administration, and records management.
