Planet Fitness is the largest privately-owned health and wellness company in South Africa, with over 26 years of experience in the industry. As we continue to expand, we are currently seeking a Call Centre Agent to join our team.

Purpose of the Job:

The primary goal is to provide fast, efficient, and consistent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent resolution skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Customer Advocate, representing customer needs to the rest of the business.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product and system knowledge.
  • Handle client inquiries related to existing policies and other questions.
  • Assist clients with their queries and resolve any complaints.
  • Update client information as necessary.
  • Must have experience in a Tele-sales environment.

Experience & Competencies:

  • Inbound and outbound call experience is required.
  • Strong reading skills, with the ability to follow scripted questions in certain roles.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work shifts.
  • Persuasive negotiation skills.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply customer service principles to all calls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to quickly learn and retain information.
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous call center experience (preferred).
  • Exceptional listening skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Team player with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • Resilient, determined, and resourceful.
